Festfeed is an experience management platform – a branded mobile app and online management solution for event producers.

How much does a Festfeed app cost?

Depending on the amount of functionality you need, we’ll work with you to design a proposal that fits your organization. We then charge a small monthly hosting & maintenance fee that is tiered to scale with you as you grow your database of app users.

What is the monthly maintenance fee?

The App Hosting & Maintenance Fee covers ongoing hosting of your app, user database, updates and improvements, scheduled maintenance, security and of course, grade-A support.

How many events can I host in my app?

As many as you want!

There isn’t a limit to the number of events you can host in your app. We have clients like Outdoor Movies BC who host upwards of 150 events per year!

Your Festfeed app creates a consistent guest experience across every event you run. You can invite past audiences to new events you create, or leverage the push notification and coupon functionality to incentivize your app community to attend your next event.

Attendees can also keep in touch with the friends they’ve made on the app via instant messaging, posts, and groups. Think of every event as a way to grow your own app community!

What kind of support do I receive?

We want to help in anyway that we can.

Our support team is available everyday from 9am – 9pm PST and usually responds within 30 minutes. You can also refer to the support section of our website for guides, graphics, case studies, and walkthrough videos to help educate yourself on some best practices.

What platforms does Festfeed support?

We deliver you a branded app built natively for iOS and Android. We also take care of the whole submission process to get your app listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

You also gain access to an online web application for creating and managing your events.

Are there ways to integrate sponsors or advertisers?

  3. Pull the event information from a Facebook event you’ve already created (on web or mobile).

What features will my Festfeed app have for the attendees?

Festfeed was built with the attendee in mind, and as such has a host of features to make their event experiences better. From the moment they create an account, attendees are immediately given the opportunity to begin connecting with friends on the app. Searching for friends is something we have seen over 40% of our users take advantage of within their first two minutes of being on the app.

Beyond connecting with friends to attend events together, your app will let users instant message one another in private messaging feeds, make private groups so they can share content amongst each other, and share their locations with friends so loosing each other at your events becomes a thing of the past.

On top of making events more social, Festfeed acts as the go-to source for information while an event is taking place. If I have lots of events, how do people find the right one?

We’ve got ya covered. Two ways:

  1. They can download the app and search for the event
  2. Using the unique URL system

Every event you add to your app has a unique URL attached to it. These links bring users through a branded sign-up experience, so they feel connected to a specific event throughout every step of the process. Schedule a demo below and we can show you how it works.

Will my app work with low, or no service?

Currently, your Festfeed app requires an internet connection to experience full functionality.

That being said, we use core-data to preserve important info like schedules and maps even when service signals are low or non-existent.

What about privacy?

We take privacy very serious, but we make it super simple:

Public Events – Anyone who downloads your app can view, attend, and post in the event.

Private Events – Users have to be invited to the event from within your app, or come through a unique download link to access it.

Public Profiles – Anyone in your app can view the content the user has posted and the friend connections they have made.

Private Profiles – Only friends can see content the user has posted and the friend connections they have made.

How do I get people to download my app?

It all starts with a solid communication plan. Beyond communicating the awesome ways that Festfeed benefits the attendees, there are a ton of creative ways you can get people to join your event community.

Start by taking an inventory of the digital marketing channels at your disposal for promoting your app’s download link. The best way to push attendees to click your link, is with a little incentivization!

The next thing to do is decide on some graphics that you think will resonate with your audience. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video can go even further. How do I edit/update the content of my app?

Festfeed apps were built mobile first, meaning you have all the power you need to update almost every aspect of your app and event pages right from your iPhone. We also integrate seamlessly with Facebook Events, meaning you can pull any Facebook events you’ve created directly into your Festfeed app!
